Arbuthnot House is on the west side of Falkirk, about 1 mile from the town centre. The town itself has a good range of shops, restaurants and recreational facilities.

Falkirk enjoys 1st class road and rail links to all parts of Scotland.

90 minutes drive to the East Neuk of Fife;

Within 20 minutes drive of Arbuthnot House there is a wealth of historic towns and buildings - such as Stirling and its castle; Linlithgow Palace (birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots); Blackness castle; Culross; and Callander House.

There are restaurants, bars and shops a short walk from Arbuthnot House. Similarly, Arbuthnot House is only a few minutes from the canal tow path, and the Falkirk Wheel is only a 5 minute drive away.

For those who are feeling more energetic, there is also a gym/swimming pool a few minutes' walk from the house, and there are many golf courses close by, including the championship course at Glenbervie.
