Arbuthnot House dates from the start of the 19th century. Anna and Andrew Burnside have been here for almost a quarter of a century - and providing bed and breakfast accommodation during the last few years (since the family left home).

Surrounded by a large, well-stocked, garden, it provides a friendly and peaceful setting for both short and longer stays. Falkirk has a good range of shops and restaurants. Recently its recreational facilities were added to by the opening of the Falkirk Wheel and the restoration of navigation on the Forth and Clyde and Union Canals. Falkirk lies at the centre of Central Scotland and enjoys excellent road and rail links to all other parts of Scotland.
